Dubai – Mubasher: Air Arabia reported profits that beat analysts’ expectations in the second quarter of 2017, according to a statement.

Profits reached AED 158 million in Q2-17, up 21% from AED 131 million in Q2-16.

Revenues also rose to AED 906 million in Q2-17 from AED 894 million in Q2-16.

The low-cost carrier posted profits of AED 261 million in the first half of 2017, an increase of 7% year-on-year. In addition, revenues reached AED 1.716 billion in H1-17.
